Mirrors, Melancholy Girls, and Other Useful Spell Ingredients

Author's Note: I wrote this book several years ago and meant for it to be part of a duology, though I have no plans at this time to write a sequel (hence why I've uploaded it here for free instead of publishing it). It does not end on a cliffhanger and has a happy ending for the main characters, but know that going in.

The people of Annabel's town have always said she was marked by witches after a disappearance when she was young. But what they don't know if that a hundred years earlier, one of her ancestors entered a contract with Annabel's life as the bargaining chip.

When a witch turns up weeks before her twentieth birthday and steals her away, she suddenly finds herself caught in a decades-old feud between siblings. One wants her as a sacrifice; the other, as a pawn.

Locked away in an enchanted manor, the only thing keeping Annabel alive is the very witch who kidnapped her: a callous boy named Eritai who only sees Annabel as a plaything to be kept from his sister.

But Annabel learns there is more to the story than Eritai is letting on, and in order to find out what he's hiding, she must delve into the past, or risk losing everything she cares about--including her heart.
